Greetings and welcome to my website! This will be used as a platform to post news about my research, share interesting links on the world of Archaeology and make available scientific articles, teaching material (mostly in portuguese) and Universidade do Algarve. The website is particular directed (but not exclusive!) to those of you who are interested in Paleolithic human adaptations, lithic technology, and the use of digital technologies in Archaeology.

I am a portuguese Paleolithic archaeologist currently working as a post-doctoral fellow in the Interdisciplinary Center for Archaeology and the Evolution of Human Behavior (ICArEHB) at Universidade do Algarve (Southern Portugal). My research interests are Paleolithic and Mesolithic archaeology, hunter-gatherer technological adaptations and the use of digital technologies in Archaeology. I am currently involved in multidisciplinary projects across Southern Iberia and in Southeastern Africa.

I am a field school director of the Vale Boi field school in Portugal, a program I run through Institute for Field Research. For details visit the program pageScholarships are available.
